I can't be the only one who was openly rooting for Carl to die, can I? The Shane thing definitely helped relieve some of the monotony, but Carl's "I saw a deer" scene was just laughably acted. I couldn't care less about him.

They used the release of the movie more as an excuse to talk about Hunter. Barely any mention of it at all. Simmons had wanted to do this podcast for awhile, he just didn't have a reason.

Also just watched The Thing again and one part that stood out to me as particularly menacing is the Wilford Brimley face-grabbing scene. He just comes right the fuck out of nowhere and covers your mouth before you have time to scream while sticking his fingers through your face skin. The Thing isn't really a movie

The clown in Poltergeist scared the absolute shit out of me when I was younger. So, naturally, it's the image used for the feature just to bring terrible memories back when I least expect it. Damn you, AV Club!

Shakespeare was an inside job!

They performed for Grand Rapids Art Prize in 2010 and they were actually really fantastic. I wasn't sure what to expect, because friends had seen them at Pitchfork and said they sounded off, so it was a welcome surprise when they killed it in front of a crowd where only about 20-25% of the people there had any idea

My favorite thing they've done recently was the super long riff of the brothers sexually harassing a cop. "Don't tase me, sweet girl. How many charges you got in that thing girl? DAY-UMMM!"

My Brother, My Brother, and Me was ridiculously awesome this week. Their response to the "need Justin Bieber's hair" question and the discussion of Smirnoff Ice alcoholism ("they… they got this new cranberry fizzle-spritz and it's SO good.") were the highlights for me. Also love how much Justin and Griffin hate

I think that was more just a quick window for him to air his disappointment in her on a personal level. He's bitched her out about the professional implications of what she did, but dropped it after that and clearly bottled up how hurt he was by it. Carrie pressing him on it eventually got him to snap, if only for a

Yup. I was wrong. The ricin was a nice red herring. I will eat my crow and show myself out.

Risky! Risky! Risky!

Do you hear a dial tone? 'Cause Barnaby Jones is off the HOOK!

Get on that. One of the best pilots I've seen, a really good first season and a GREAT second season.

I wouldn't sell Justified so short. Not after the leap it took in season 2.

Walt didn't "kill" her. He let her die. Those are two ENTIRELY different things. Not saying it wasn't morally reprehensible, but come on.

Sarcastically, I'M in charge!

The look on his face afterward is even better.

Don't forget Adam Baldwin!

Hey, it worked with Marta 2

I liked it, too. It was a little thing, but I really liked the callback to Nick covering his eyes with articles of clothing when he's stressed — this time with Jess' hat instead of his sweatshirt's hood.
