Don't Stop Believing. That last scene was similar to the Sopranos last scene. The inherent paranoia of the situation and cross cutting causes tension somehow. I concur with others that the cancer is back. My guess on Walt having hair in S5E01 flash forward is that he's just decided to forego treatment. He's also probably on the run, which could also make treatment difficult. Plus hair would act as a kind of disguise.
