At least there's some talent in that cast. Lea Michelle would make a pretty good Elphaba.

Oh really? I've never come across it.

I'm guessing after the success of Frozen last weekend, maybe - especially as I hear Idina's character sings a very "Defying Gravity"-like song at one point.

"But then again, those swastika flags were really, really huge."

So dead on, I am chuckling so hard at the comparison.

He sang it at the festival. It was lovely, actually. I was most worried about how Stephen Moyer would handle it, this being one of my favorite songs of all time and not knowing he actually has a decent voice.

Agree with you and the reviewer that the Nazi threat felt very palpable in this production, which I appreciated.

I don't think I saw a single misstep out of the kids. Most impressive.

The awkward, buzzing silences….nobody noticed that would be a problem ahead of time?!?! So painful!

If it's Millie, they NEED to get Sutton Foster in there. Actually, they need to get Sutton Foster in there no matter what. I realize she wouldn't sold this Sound of Music LIVE the way Carrie Underwood likely did, but damn, I would have loved to see her Maria.

Did you see PBS Masterpiece Classic's Company from - I believe - 2011? Definitely look it up: Neil Patrick Harris, Stephen Colbert, Katie Finneran, etc etc etc. It was well done.

My thoughts:

Hmmm, B- I'm afraid.

Oh my gosh, I didn't! In hindsight, weird that they didn't make a bigger deal out of the reveal, actually.

"My American Girl Babysitting Guide didn't prepare me for this" was absolutely my line of the night. SO perfectly Sue.

Haha thanks!

Best episode yet? Maybe!! Danny dances! Jeremy is thin! Glenn Howerton continues to be awesome in this role! Mindy killed it every which way.

The most perfect!

Agreed, at the beginning of the season, they thought they could get some kind of interesting story out of his weight gain, but when they realized it was painfully unfunny, they had to figure out how to end it immediately.

Well said.
