I'm not sure if any other show adds so much in costume alone - the colors and patterns calling back to earlier episodes (and even seasons sometimes), the way they tie characters together (or push them apart).  Snubs like that really make you wonder who the voters are and what they're watching.

Most definitely no dip in Justified quality.  I'd argue it was Olyphant's and Goggins' best performances yet.

SERIOUSLY!  I don't understand how's it possible to snub that.

Right!

I believe the year ends June 1 or June 30, something like that, so most if not all of Hannibal's episodes aired before the deadline.  Meaning, there is no explanation for the snubs across the board.

having grown-up dancing ballet, "bunheads" was a term I was very familiar with.  Though my friends and I didn't really use it to describe ourselves, Bunheads is a very popular brand of ballet accessories.  When I first heard about the show, I didn't think anything of it other than "that's clever, nice semi-insider

Completely agree, the 2nd half took a show trying to find its voice (and one separate from GG) and ran away with it.

agreed, it's another hurdle with moving forward and the struggle to increase its ratings

Yup, I think that's a good summation.

Count me as 1 of the 50!

Thank you for writing this, Todd.  I couldn't have said it better.  I'm in love with the show, and if I had a preteen/tween/teenage daughter, I would want her to watch this too.

You poor thing!

Yea I feel like moms pulled that duty a lot for their sons, that's who I remember at least!

On the Lindsay side of the Lindsay-Nick spectrum (though I have plenty on the other side, I assure you): my first high school dance as a freshman was the big Homecoming formal, and nobody asked me to be their date (but no one asked any of my friends either, so we all went together, take that, nobody!).  At some point

Honestly, Todd, I am thoroughly enjoying getting these glimpses into your childhood, particularly the full Ted Mosby edition we got this week!

Rookie mistake, Louis: always check the bi-laws. I'm disappointed in you.

She passed them (there's not really a "fail" anyway. Like the SAT, it's about getting the highest score you can), but what she learned last season is there are thousands of applicants with near perfect LSAT scores, and only a couple hundred can get in. I agree that her work at this particular firm (and her father -

Junior and Barbie not trying to kill each other and actually kinda working together without comment or apology was definitely strange to the point of distracting.

Oh I think there's no way he releases her.  Has to protect the family.  This storyline could get even darker in a hurry.
