really interesting thoughts on the impact of having the cure storyline come later.  and now I wish they had done just that, after we'd had at least a season of Vampire Elena and what that means for herself and everyone else.  like you said, just too much manipulations on too many people right now, and it's destroying

amen!

I think it speaks volumes that this episode only has 69 reasonable discussions at this moment (soon to be me as 70): this episode was NOT good and this season is really losing me.  I'm disappointed, plain and simple.  I still like most of the characters but I HATE Shane and I also think there's no way that was really

amen!  Mad Men more than any other show (IMHO) should not be binge-watched.

I'm with you, Todd.  I can't sum up my opinion on binge vs. week-to-week any better than you just did.  That notwithstanding, I will say that there are shows that do better when watched quickly - these of the lesser dramas of the world, also known as my guilty pleasures (Pretty Little Liars and the late Gossip Girl

Holy smokes, what an episode!

It was genius!  I agree with Erik that now I can't believe it took so long for a sequence like this to occur

I'm right there with you

I hate myself for missing this, thanks!

I completely agree - there's a lot of real story already in Jim and Pam's current tensions; we don't need a third party to play it out.  And yet, here we are.  Blerg.

completely agree.  i am bummed.  why can't Jim & Pam have a real conflict that they need to resolve that doesn't involve a third party?  there's plenty of real emotion to mine without inserting Brian.  blech.  this plot.
