I actually called Tio being involved in Gus's death at the pre-episode recap, and the wheelchair setup shortly thereafter. Still, the buildup was superb; really felt like you were seeing the death of a giant.

I've had a lot of visible reactions to this show over the past season: tense dread, giggling glee, etc. Gus's emergence was the first moment to elicit a genuine "WHAT!" Brilliant.

Same here. I don't see why they even bother: there's no way anybody who saw what they saw tonight won't be tuning in next week.

I guess I can see what you mean by commenting on missing scenes (the walk back from Mexico in particular), but the jump after the car accident was actually a rather graceful way of building suspense, I felt. In the end, it all just added to Act 3's nightmarishness.

Two actually, one at the dinner with Gus (it was quick, so it's understandable you missed it), and one for Walt.

Nothing helps a shot to the belly like some belly-shots, am I right?

The arguable exception being the guy (I forget his name) Gus slit open in the season premiere, but in hindsight that was as much about covering tracks as it was sending a message.

Sounds like Jesse capped another one.

There's a point where it stops being a thong and starts being lint.

"Ba-da-da-da-da-da-DA! Te-kill-a!"

Anyone else just have the ending of "The Usual Suspects" play in their head?

Except where certain vegan chemists are involved.

He could say he forgot he was wearing it, ala "One Minute."

That hombre's gotta die sometime.

If The Simpsons can get Squishy machines put in 7-11s, why can't there be some Pollos Hermanos? One in every 1000 customers gets a free back of Sky Blue.

Just post a link, dude.

I don't think we're looking at the same Walt who stook up for Jesse in Season One, though his grief over his actions tonight hinted that there may be hope for him yet.

How could you possibly know this, and why would you tell us?

"I guess what I'm saying is, I killed Jane."

That makes sense to me too. I gotta go back and watch it to make sure, but Donna's interpretation feels truer.
