I know, but sometimes (particularly with feminism, quite recently) I get tired of post-modernism, and want some finality things. Ah well, I guess that's the nature of literary, film and sociological theory and criticism. I miss formalism:P

Well the mere act of penetration asserts dominance over the penetrated; that is if you don't consider "vagina dentata", where the a woman's cooch is a "second mouth" that consumes the male member. Honestly, I thought "third-wave" feminists such as Judith Butler answered most of this non-sex stuff already. To go

"I have little to no knowledge of the ‘80s G.I. Joe cartoon…"

Ariana Grande showed more 'stuff' in her professional photo shoots several years ago, than the selfies leaked on Mccurdy, so I doubt that's the reason for the hiatus.

I thought in the book those in the community couldn't see color?
Oh, well, can't have everything. Still pretty excited.

FiliBFOS 'snicker'

Glory to Arstotzka!

I just HAD to look at what snowball means over at Urban dictionary… now I know that ain't cupcake icing on Pam's face. Innocence lost:(

Microsoft wins this one for me. It being an excellent "non-commercial".

All in order to achieve the figurative "Resurrection" of the body a la Jesus, to be immortal in a mortal world, a god among men. Such hubris. Thankfully nobody succeeded. (Not counting Hermes Trismegistus)

Central America = Lana's child being born with a pig's tail and Archer spouting some crap about Hundred Years of Solitude, and Lana's sperm donor being her first cousin.

Why do I have the feeling that someone on the writing staff is a Bioshock fan?

Well fan translation of the most recent Blacksad is out on the interwebs. Official release by DarkHorse is months or years away:P

Great year. The non-english comics are quite good as well. I just read the new Blacksad: Amarillo, and as expected it was DEVASTATINGLY sad. That's good.

Easy: ex. Red was in love with Liz's mother but she ended up marrying/ getting pregnant by someone else. Then she dies and Liz is the only reminder of his past love and the life that could have been.

I've seen Park's whole "Sympathy Trilogy", different stories connected by one simple (and some would say Eastern) theme: that of attaining purity after all the filth one goes through. Was this even present in the film?

I believe Meera Malik (Parminder Nagra) is the one who facilitated Garrick's insertion into the black-site. Remember, she's 'on-loan' from the CIA after all. She may well die next.

Because it's, dare I say it, POPULAR?

Practically my only constant pizza experience is at Sbarro which serve both Deep Dish and NY Pizza. It's pretty good.

A bit of correction: This is episode 8 not 7 as AV Club counts it, maybe because there are 2 episode 6's? Please fix that bug.
