I agree, Rich.  I love DS9, but it has its flaws, and it is good for us having someone with a fresh eye to criticize it, especially someone with directorial experience who can analyse them thoroughly.  I always appreciate a series even more when a seasoned pro gives me a fair and balanced take on what they did right,

Galaxy Quest probably would have been a great series.
