Floyd mentioned that 2 of her children had already died long ago, only the oldest's story was told in some detail.

I believe the whole episode also functioned as a homage to Raising Arizona. Floyd also had 5 kids, (3 of whom were dead before this ep began), and a psychopathic killer tracks down the hapless couple who have kidnapped one of the children and try to raise him.

Someone should use that cover over the ending in a video. Would fit nicely and give a new perspective as Rick's pretty old and broken too.
