Yes, the “legion” of personalities all seem to be some variation of “Dan Stevens bugs his eyes out and tilts his head at a slight angle”. Oh, and one has a Scottish(?) accent for some reason(?).
This has been a problem with the show its entire run. As if there’s an imaginary velvet rope between the viewer and the story, demanding that one stands back to admire it rather than engage directly. And I say that as someone who has genuinely enjoyed the show and does appreciate the artistry on display.
