One thing I really appreciated about LC was the use of music, both as soundtrack and within the universe of the show itself. Adrian Young is a fantastic producer, and it’s not everyday you see Raphael Saadiq owning the stage.

Agreed; as I was watching this episode tonight I couldn’t help but reflect on how good and compelling he is and how much I’ve missed it. As much as I’m a fan of the other shows he just runs circles around their respective leads, even Kristin Ritter.
