I generally enjoyed the series finale even though it was clear to me it wasn't meant as a series finale. Sure you could use it as one but it seemed more like a season finale to me.

I think this show pretty much exists in the shadows of Game of Thrones even though it equals it some weeks and on rare occasions even surpasses it. They're very similar shows in some regards. I think The Borgias is somewhat more focused in that there aren't quite as many characters to follow and they don't jump around…
