The problem is that the "small minority of freeloaders" spots are already filling up with people who cannot safely be vaccinated, or who do not successfully develop immunity after being vaccinated. They don't have the leisure to decide whether or not to contribute to herd immunity; the best way to support them is for

Bikeage, by the Descendents, is definitely my favorite song for age 15

"Are you being sarcastic, dude?"
"I don't even know anymore."

Yeah, it was the part where the entire concept of the storyline demanded that we pick some very popular heroes to take the side of fascism that doomed the storyline. I suppose if they can rework it so that one side isn't just objectively horrible, then maybe it will be… survivable?

"Forrest Gump was essentially Being There made by retards."

There are about 5 minutes of real brilliance out of Clark Gable in there where I forgot what a train wreck I was watching.

As much as I loathe Gone with the Wind (for being morally reprehensible) and Crash (for not being a Cronenberg film), at least I can see why they're enjoyable to watch. Going My Way, though, I found unwatchable. It's just so painfully heavy-handed and smug.

Yeah, if it stays this over-the-top, and manages the right mix of answering old questions and asking new ones, I'm all over this.

Drive Away Slow, by Abi Tapia. I guess it's not really "pop culture," but I love the chorus so much:

The tension of that moment made it all worthwhile for me.

The wolf thing was so frustrating with this episode! The whole fight with the henchman, I kept waiting for him to pull a badass transform-into-a-wolf-and-fuck-shit-up move. But I guess standing up while five guys grab onto him is pretty cool, too, right?

It's almost impossible to do sit the bar without a JD in any U.S. jurisdiction, now. And it's ABSOLUTELY impossible to do so after knowingly practicing law without a license for money for so long.

I was *dreading* that scene as soon as I saw where it was going, at it turned out to be pretty great. Easily one of the best "characters who do not normally get high get high" scenes I've seen.

Oh god that pissed me off so much. That's been the one thing that I thought was a real win this season over last - sometimes you'd go an ENTIRE EPISODE without someone doing something heinously stupid solely because the plot demanded it.

"OF COURSE that’s the only possibility when a woman does that on TV."
