What do you think of the 12 hour election special?

I may or may not be addicted to the Chris Gethard show, and now I'm wondering how he can bring back the insanity of "Looking at Dicks for an Hour" or "A Hero's Journey" to Fusion.

I don't see the issue with that in COMEDY, no less, and it's not homophobic either.

It's a joke about how Trump is subservient to Putin to the point where he'd do such an act. It's not about Trump being gay; it's power.

"I'm Losing My Edge" becomes more relevant for me every year, by the way.

Unfortunately those are full of spoilers, so I cannot partake.

I'm surprised how short Twin Peaks' first season is, given that it was such a cultural sensation when it aired.

The bot? That's not the hard part. That can already be done. It's easy to script something to pick up on what's popular and trending on the internet. You just gotta translate that into click-baity articles.

Yeah that's how I took it. It's about power and how Trump is subservient to him. The joke isn't about him being gay.

The FireColbert trend had me worried, and I couldn't tell what the outrage was on twitter so I had to find a story about it.

If it makes you feel better that kind of writing will be replaced with cheap AI in the near future.

Her scene? The bison? Everything with Mr. Wednesday and the leprechaun who does not care about cliches and likes to brawl</spoil>? Yes I thought those worked really well, but I'm worried the show will just seem too goofy and like a Starz cliche at some points.

After all, they did have the idea for that BJ….

I did not have a problem with that scene. But the buckets of blood and the arm elicited laughter, and I'm not sure if that's what they wanted.

It's been a while since I read it, but I don't remember that much gore and fantastical descriptions.

I forgot that word in relation to the Wire. That makes more sense. But it is the story of one city.

As much as I liked American Gods, I'm worried about this: is the show too expressionistic and showy? Would this have been better with a more subdued tone?

Deadwood: civilization
The Wire: city
American Gods: belief?
X-files: truth
Game of Thrones: myths
Twin Peaks: underneath
Entourage: bros
