Would I or others be discussing this little tidbit if it didn't mean a bit more than zero to the audience? Or are Finns barred from "the audience" and constructive criticism isn't allowed?

I don't what it is about Finland in the water lately in American shows, references galore in the past few years, while over a decade ago we were mostly releagated to one lapdancing joke in 'Men behaving badly' and Monty Python acts.
Am I the only one who is starting to dislike series like this? Series about people in power/working the curtains, where every single character is a prick, obnoxious people flaming each other with worse and worse lines.
