"Thilenth, Kingthlayer!"

I'd be more interested if the hall was "loud and empty."
SPOILERS
The second book is longer so I definitely hope they add a couple of episodes. I think this season could have used two more.
Those were actually his children.
In the first episode, Ned chopped the head off of the Night's Watch deserter. Before he did that he said, "I, Eddard of House Stark…." In this episode, When Ned was writing out Robert's last wishes it was basically the same thing - "I, Robert of House Baratheon…"
Wikipedia says it's true, so it must be. No one lies on teh Intarwebs.
Ned has been isolated from most of that, though. His involvement in the rebellions was as a general. Once everything was back in order, he went back to Winterfell far away from noble plotting and intrigue.
Part of the issue is that in the books we only see Cersei through other character's eyes. So, our view of her is skewed by the biases of the viewpoint character. In the TV series, we have a neutral camera as our viewpoint.
I always get a kick out of the vehemence with which the questioner says, "WRONG!" The open steppe guy wasn't just off a little; he was as wrong as wrong can be.
I would go so far as to say the score was the best part of the original. Overall it's an enjoyable film with some flaws, but the music just kills.
I think Jaime has been helped by the fact that HBO GoT has a neutral camera-driven narration. In the books, every chapter is from a character's viewpoint so everything is skewed. It's one of the things that makes the books so rewarding in my mind because you get to constantly reevaluate what you've seen or heard…
This thread needs to be nuked from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
