But what happens in five years when what's on Netflix is Girlfriend in a Coma and Welcome to the Family? What will we all watch then?!

Quick, NBC, call Annie's Boobs!

And which replacement comedies on NBC's plate would you prefer?

Great show. And, uh, Jennifer Esposito is pretty free this days since her own behind-the-scenes drama.

NBC are idiots - but @avclub-1d04064d540beb34e0cc414561bc6f35:disqus has sound logic.

The last thing I remember seeing her in was Ken Marino's web show, Burning Love, dressed in a giant bear suit. You take what you can get?

I don't think people understand how little first week ratings matter outside of PR buzz. It matters more in the following weeks - can it hold those numbers? How much of a drop does it see? This is why it was such a huge deal the other week when The Following GAINED in week two on top of the premiere. Almost every show

This is the most beige timeline.

I don't think they're bringing back Scotty for anything to do with Donna. After all, Donna seemed genuinely sad when Harvey/Zoe didn't pan out.

I think the biggest problem about that scene is actually that those slaps looked so fake. Same thing with Harvey hitting the Hardman sign too. There was some WEIRD editing in that bit.

I'm actually glad you posted this now. You've turned my enthusiasm into dread, Todd, but my expectations are definitely low now. Which hopefully means I'll like more than if my expectations were high.

The Stand. I've started that book at least 10 times. I've yet to finish.

Twin Peaks works a lot better in modern day if you view it as a comedy rather than a thriller.

I feel that way about Buffy too. I grew up with the X-Files and LOVE the hell out of that show, but when I finally got around to watching Buffy (what my friends at the time were watching instead), felt pretty underwhelmed.

They should really just get the girl from Beasts of the Southern Wild. Who cares if she can sing?

This was my thought. Every time they showed that little girl with the dog, I just kept thinking, IF SHE EATS THE DOG, SURELY THIS WOULDN'T BE PG-13, RIGHT?

I actually thought this was the best use of her in a few weeks. There was a lot of suggestion that she's capable AND being noticed (for something other than office romance) when Louis was asking her how many corrections she made to the file Harold did. It was a nice reminder that she does have uses/talents/an

This was maybe the best episode of Suits since 2.01. Maybe even better than that. Last week's didn't impress me very much, but this. THIS was the show I've been missing for months.

You've just summed up my entire thoughts on JJ Abrams in a sentence.
