Good night, John Boy.
Good night, John Boy.
Well let's see if I have a song for that! And maybe afterwards we can teach you how to tie your shoes!
Neither is this. See my summary under Excitable Misunderstood Genius' comment.
Over 90 minutes, but it isn't really a reunion, and was actually kind of disappointing. Kevin uses audio from previous episodes, interviews from the Union of the State oral history, and messages other members recorded for his recent birthday. There's no one in the studio with him and it's kind of lackluster. I think…
I enjoy Rifftrax and have seen most of the Live events, and I absolutely agree that the ads for those are terrible. I can't see those bringing in an audience that doesn't already know what RT/MST is.
Nope—Joel sent an email to KS backers on the day, saying he was there with everyone except Patton. He probably just stayed home to be with his daughter—understandable—but missing such a big event is what had me worried in the first place.
Joke's on them, then!
That might be more of a time commitment than they were willing to make. Doing a guest spot or two, hanging out to pitch jokes… that can be knocked out fairly quickly compared to an entire season of puppeteering. They're both busy full-time with Rifftrax, and honestly, I think they'd prefer to keep moving forward with…
I HATE TOM SERVO'S NEW NEW VOICE
Looks like it's time for you to put away the beer and suit up.
Would you be able to ask if Patton is still involved then? Cuz he isn't mentioned above. It would be totally understandable if he'd pulled out, considering his situation—but still kinda sad if he's decided not to go forward with it.
Not on streaming, anyway, tho it sounds like Matthew's friend still gets discs.
Just mentally replace all the captions in pornographic cartoons with 'Christ, what an asshole.' It always works.
Ah, yes. "I don't like and/or understand something, so drugs must be involved."
Thanks for stopping by! I really enjoyed this.
Yeah I caught "Food Truck" the other night and really enjoyed it. It's quirky but not overly-bizarre. I do hope they explain the humans vs. bear thing some more, as well as how some animals can interact with people and others cannot.
All sports, particularly soccer. Bungie's Destiny. Adventure Time, which is painful cuz I actually would enjoy it. Can't watch Doctor Who anymore. Most music made in the last ten years. More stuff besides. Most of this is from one person. …I'm not very well adjusted.
Well, he hasn't been cast. There's no reason they -have- to make him a blond white dude like the comics. We'll see if they wise up.
The lyrics for "Set the Ray To Jerry" are pretty basic, but that. Goddamn. Bass line. I could listen to that bass forever.
My favorite SP songs have always been the straight-ahead rockers—Bodies, Quiet, XYU, hell, even Tarantula from Zeitgeist—but in the last few years I've determined my One True Forever Favorite is Pug. I can't even articulate why, but everything about that song—from lyrics, to delivery, to instrumentation—just resonates…
