i am NOT yoko fucking Ono
No shit. Yoko:

AWESOME.

wait . . .SLAYER?
please tell me you have an advance copy of World Painted Blood.

Wait, Gamer Grub is REAL?
I thought Penny Arcade made that shit up. My bad.

I'm a rod.

Yeah, I love the cover so much I'm actually going to order a physical copy myself instead of downloading it.

I also mentioned this on a random thread a while ago: I used to work with Dave Brylawski at a social services organization in NYC, pre-reunion. Nicest guy in the world. Never talked about Polvo. I had to figure out who he was on my own, after months of saying to myself, "Why does this guy look so familiar?"

Yeah, what's the matter, Oprah? Going soft? You made James Frey cry on the air, and all he did was get hooked on drugs and make some shit up.

Aw, but look at that big yellow felt heart
He's learned his lesson.

Starship Troopers, in one of the training scenes:

I think Steve Buscemi makes "Desperado". It kinda hits a wall once he dies, and doesn't recover until the awesome, ridiculous part at the end when they bring back the actor from the first movie and he's got a rocket launcher in his guitar case.

. . .and this is why I love the film version of "Friday Night Lights" so much.

Although, I just thought of something:

Looks like they're going to try making their money on the front end this time.

I know! I tried reading "Moby Dick", but what the hell do all those whalers have to do with ME? Or "Beloved"? HELLO, Toni Morrison, I have never been an escaped slave, nor have any of my friends, so clearly your book has nothing to offer us. I mean, why did you even WRITE it? Trying to corner the "escaped slave"

I'm going to bet they will not, in fact, bother adressing that.

A pack of wolves, apparently, since they all keep leaving the screen door open. You're air conditioning the whole neighborhood!

For some reason, Red Hot Chili Peppers as that fat, vegas bar band covering "Rollercoaster of love" still cracks me up. Worth watching again.

The most amazing part of all of this is:
A studio is actually promoting a Mike Judge film.
