Diddy's former ghostwriter has a book?
Sweet, I love Pharoahe Monch.

I nominate Kills Owls Dead to be the new President of the Academy.

Also, Shih Tzu:

Better than Monsters Inc though?

I have a feeling that if you Bing "Bing", Bing does not even come up. It's that crappy.

I know I'm walking into Slough Hilton's troll cave here, but I can't help it.

Good point Elitist Trash, but we also have Best Foreign Picture, and that didn't stop "Crouching Tiger" from getting nominated for both Best Foreign Picture and Best Picture (and getting robbed by the film about the Gladiator named Gladiator who gladiates. I forget what that movie was called.)

Also:

UP, nominated for Best Picture.
No more excuses, Academy

"See, Game of Death gets Worst Ever on moral/proprietary grounds, not cinematic grounds."

"Game of Death" is worth it ONLY for the scene at the end when he fights Kareem. Actually, the last 20 minutes or so (when it's really him), is amazing. It's worth renting on DVD and just skipping ahead to the end.

That's more than 140 characters
Does she have some sort of premium unicorn-powered Twitter account?

That's the thing . . .I didn't until this morning! I still think of Cursive as a LFTWC off-shoot, when I'm sure everyone else in the world thinks of LFTWC as "that band that had the guy from Cursive and the guy from Bright Eyes in it".

Mike Mogis is in Bright Eyes now?
Glad he's still making music, getting paid, etc, but BRIGHT EYES? Oh my. This is like when Andy Bell from Ride joined Oasis. Conflicted.

@overeducated:
"Example 3- I see no evidence there, just speculation. Where are the studies? "

"zero evidence to support the proposition that GM food is harmful" ?

As long as we're heading into the weeds here . . .

Um . . .

In Victor Echo's defense, I think it's pretty clear he meant "I never heard of him before reading this article and now I am curious as to why I have never heard of him before" not "I just read the first sentence of this article and then zipped down here to say I did not know who the hell this dude is".

Nips is right. Why no Murray Street love?
