I've found that as a writer, Kaku is easier to follow than Hawking and Greene, so I've nver understood why his books don't sell as well as theirs. Not that I don't enjoy reading them, but reading "Hyperspace", I finally thought "Oh! ok, NOW I get it". It's such a wonderful book.

Or, if you're too cheap to pony up $1.98 . . .
. . .just buy "The Pharohs". You'll be back for more.

Forget the remaster of "Ten" :
When are they going to haul Andy Wallace back into the studio and make him wipe off that plastic pop-metal sheen he crapped all over "Nevermind"?

The best part is . . .
. . .how happy that gutted Tauntaun looks.

We still had "air raid" drills in the late 70's/early 80's. We had to go line up in the hall and face the wall. It was a newer building, and the hallway was the most reinforced part.

If you didn't think you could possibly love this film any more than you already do . . .
. . .get your hands on the the special edition DVD. As one of the special features there's this amazing, hilarious, INSANE 20 minute storyboarded sequence that one of the animators (I think it was Ralph Eggleston, who followed

Sorry, I had no idea "Vanya" was not on DVD until you commented. That's a damn shame.

"It's a knish!"

I tip my hat to you, good sir.

Still hoping . . .
. . .that there's a scene where they reveal that the devil has his own, EVIL ballet crew, using moves that were banned by the church in the 14th century.

Are you doing something worthwhile with your life? You are? See, that's your problem right there. Might I suggest an exciting new profession where you help people kill themselves?

The original MPDG:
Jane Fonda in "Barefoot in the Park".

Well, then, apologist me up too. I'll take a talented band working their asses off, pushing themselves up against their limits, and slightly missing the mark VS. half-assed bands mailing it in.

Truer words were never spoken
"A band that has bookish tendencies and writes fake musicals about ancient folk-song characters is totally going to get shit on somewhere."

Honest Question
Which Gomez is the Old Gomez?

AWWWWW YEAH

It's just "Fingertips" that's supposed to be played out of order though, right?

Right, thats what I thought, but then you go on to list "Apollo 18", which is NOT just one song. So the second part of your joke contradicts the first part of your joke. There's no reason why Apollo 18 would be a joke suggestion. Hence everyone's confusion.

Yeah, but "Apollo 18" is not just one track. And I would argue that "Fingertips" could be viewed as the inspiration for Shuffle Mode. Along with any John Cage CD.
