CAN you shuffle "Thick as a Brick"? It's just 2 tracks on the CD.
Plus, I always fast forward through the last 6 minutes of "Moonchild", STILL. It's a nice breather, but it doesn't do anything for me.
It's amazing how good "Adam & Eve" still is. Not a bad song on there. But I think "Chrome" is more cohesive as an album, epsecially the way "Ursa Major Space Station" blows your face off, and then you need all 8 minutes of "Fripp" to build you back up. And "Show Me Mary" is such a great way to end an album . . .when…
Yeah, lord knows Jawbreaker inspired some awful bands. And I loves me some Jawbreaker.
No, his face just puffs up right before he swallows someone's soul. He's 50 %blowfish, 50% deadite, and 100% fucking insane.
I don't wanna be the guy to tell Marco this.
Have you read HEAT? Dude's crazy. Need more proof? Look at that photo.
Agreed, the AV Club's take on this event has been a nice contrast to the way the big video game events are always covered on the other sites. It's nice to click through 1,000 screen shots of unfinished games, but I much perfer actual, well written articles with perspective.
Thank you for calling attention to the loudness war
To many great bands have died in vain in thy name.
God, I hate that film so much. I didn't think shallowness and pretentiousness could co-exist until I saw it. And the actress that plays the half-sister in the woods or whatever has a voice that sounds like a horse eating a bagpipe stuffed with cats.
That's exactly how I've always viewed "Striptease" and "Pola X". They fail on every single level.
i still think OoT is the best game ever, but the experience of playing it again for the first time can't ever be re-created. That's why I loved Majora's Mask so much: They just took the OoT engine and dipped it in LSD.
YAY
Iron Giant and Spirited Away coming up! 2 of my favorite movies right there.
Also true: Lucas wanted David Lynch to direct Return of the Jedi.
Oh thank god
I'd heard nothing but bad things during the production of this, and had no idea how anyone could possbily makie a movie out if this, and was kind of hoping the whole project would be killed or never come out, but WOW. It looks like they may just pull this thing off. This looks like it's going to be a…
I'm wondering if the reason why all of us can only remember one joke, and that joke is different for all of us, is because the show's sense of humor was very surreal, but also very very specific. Something about the attention to detail. I will never forget the horrified look on old man Hitler's face as he slowly turns…
Remember the new dub of Akira they did a few years ago and released in theaters? I had seen that movie about 50 times, but when I saw it in the theater with the new dub, and the new translation, I finally understood what the hell was going on.
Thank god, I used to think I was nuts for only being able to remember one joke from this show, but still loving the show based on the one joke I've managed to remember all these years. It's the part when he finally realizes who the pastry delivery guy "really is" (they keep only showing his back), and he chases him…
Yeah "Stardust" was my parent's gateway drug into country music. When it came out in the late 70's it must have blown their minds because all of a sudden we stopped listening to the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and Simon & Garfunkel in our house, and just listened to that album for like a year. Then they finally went out…
I've said it before, and I'll say it again:
