Can we take a moment and give it up
for the fact that Doom is NOT dead?

It is. All of the NASA probes have their own Twitter feed. The Cassini just tweeted me to tell me it switched to it's backup thrusters, I kid you not.

Start following writers, bands and organizations that you like until your friends cave in. They will. Patience.

Yes, I also doubted what use Twitter could possibly have until I started doing it. As much as I enjoy the challenge of trying to come up with concise 140 character jokes, I also love getting weather updates from David Lynch, status upates from the NASA Kepler Probe ("Just passed the moon on my way out of orbit"),

What's also great about the "Love, God and Murder" box set is that Cash compiled it himself, so it's great to see how he chose to sum up his own career.

Sums up the book pretty well, too. If the movie gets that across, then I'm breathing a big sigh of relief.

Agreed. Troy is getting better, but dear god it's still the most depressing place on america. Albany's problem is that most of it is just plain ugly, even though there's a lot of cool stuff there.

This thread just made my day.

This was already the best news I've heard all week, but hearing there will be a 2nd disc . . .wow.
