Kinda like how North Dakota somehow ran off with our Minnesota crime thriller. What was wrong with calling it Brainerd?

Rumble in the Bronx came out at just the right time for me. I was 15 and starting to get jaded with the Hollywood action movies I'd devoured over the past five years (or maybe they started to suck in the mid-90s). Then we all heard the buzz about this weird movie from "Hong Kong" that was playing at the cheap theater

Someone was saying a few episodes back that there's some comic series called "Angel & Faith" (different from the regular and much-reviled Buffy and Angel continuation stories) that's actually good. Does anyone concur? Are there any other Buffyverse/Whedonverse comics that are worth looking into?

It's awkward that the whole episode revolves around Buffy and yet the script conspires to never quite get her into a scene. It's awkward that

@HotDogPrincess:disqus @joshi38:disqus Oh! Thanks. Well, then, they're just implemented poorly. Very often it'll be in the middle of a music transition or something that suggests there wasn't supposed to be a break, and they're always very sudden. Probably Hulu's using the existing spots and also adding new ones.

@avclub-df80f70f60b1c678f8c91696f4a54f5f:disqus Well, if it's any consolation, the Hulu version of Misfits has commercial breaks inserted with painfully awkward timing. (They do a decent job of placing them appropriately between scenes, but because the editing wasn't built with breaks in mind, the cuts are still

Opponents forced it onto a statewide ballot before the legislation could be enacted, hoping to block it with a direct
