That would be stellar. I need to play more IF anyway!

That would be very unfortunate, as while Infocom was handily the best publisher of text adventures back when they were commercially mainstream, the hobbyist noncommercial/indie scene that started in the late '90s has since far, far surpassed Infocom's output in terms of user-friendliness, narrative experimentation,

Loose Cannon - Documentary following the 2006 restoration of the armaments of Fort Mackinac on Lake Huron. Features interviews with noted historians and detailed diagrams of the restoration process. 60min.

Everyone's trying to talk this movie down, but I might take a leap of faith anyway.

Someone copped to being Horsefellow a while back, but I forget who, sorry. And yeah, they said they had basically given it up.

It's a shame it didn't go in more of an Illbleed direction.

I'm waiting, in a BMW, for Tim & Eric's MLB debut.

It's OK, you can use more lines. They don't actually have to pay for them.

tokyo.sora, sort of. Not that I was terribly taken with it.

Thanks! I'll go through these as I read! It'll be like TV Club for ducks. Also, turns out my cousin and her girlfriend got me the Lost in the Andes book, too, so maybe I'll go through that beforehand just to get a sense for Barks.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! If what I'm hearing is right, Life and Times is probably worth multiple reads, and it's not that long anyway, so I'll probably go through that once, pursue the Barks canon, and then maybe re-read Rosa to see how it turns out with more context. I got time.

Hey, this is probably as good a place as any to ask this. I've never read any Duck comics, but my parents got me Volumes 1 and 2 of Rosa's The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck for Christmas. This is a perfectly good starting point, right?

I'll second Gunnerkrigg Court! And thanks for the reminder. I haven't fully gone through that one yet, but I should get back into reading it or buying the collections.
