I'm confused a bit-how does one drive a car into ones living room?

It's also pretty much a different lead character,Personally I can take or leave it.
I find Rowan Atkinson much, much funnier when he's playing it smart. I can't stand Mr Bean or any of the variations on his rubber-faced idiocy that Atkinson has done over the years.
I just find the first series' idiotic, meek, panicking

That does change things, though I still would like to know whether that's all character writing.

Said it before, but this is one of the few places I'll discuss the show in an opinionated way, because so many fans are just negative and nitpicky and rude.
So many people seem to have this idea of what the show should be like in their minds, and take it very, very personally if it doesn't match up.

The crossest man in the TARDIS!

I'm totally in the wishing he was leaving at the same time as Smith boat.

No, no it isn't.
It's just odd seeing her like that when everyone else is about 15 years younger.
Then it's strange when anyone flirts with the Doctor so overtly to me.

Wrong spot

Oh good choice!

Eddie Izzard, your time has come!

Yeah. I liken Tennant to Davison (if you didn't know he was an alien, you'd never guess) as opposed to Smith being much more eccentric and odd like Troughton or Tom Baker.
One does seem more human and relatable, but I like Smith more as it seems more a character.

I don't think it's always a kids show as much as it's an all ages family show.

Ack, that's awful fucking male oppression arse.

No it's a hill of beans. I think in the case of this character where it's set that any regeneration could be any race, ethnicity or possibly even gender then it does become a 'why is it always some white Englishman with a Home Counties accent' elephant in the room.

Especially if they're named 'Ewan McGregor'.

I don't know, but I want some of them.

Hundred percent agree. It would be more like if they cast
Richard Ayoade.

I never got the whole turn River into Emma Peel thing. She's 50, and a lot of the time it comes over as a housewife playing dressup and trying to pick up a younger man.

Wibbly-wobbly time-zoney-wimey.

Besides he's already on one.
