I would love a show with Clara, Strax and Smith's Doctor. It would be the funniest Who ever.

He's a product of his society, even if he never fit into their standards of things. He's flawed because he's trying to undo being raised Sontaran.

Yeppers. I had no problem with the episode, I actually loved it if it had been a standalone one, just I couldn't help but feel let down.

There really isn't. It's a great concept, but it's been really a forgotten concept rejiggered.

His Doctor's grown immeasurably in confidence and knowing his role and place I think.
He's embraced being this sort of caretaker of the universe character  and less a giddy man trying to experience life.

I was definitely expecting something larger from The Great Intelligence.
I agree with you that it was an oddly personal and revenge driven motivation, but it didn't quite work because we haven't seen why it would be personal to such a degree.
It just rings hollow.

Or at least a Vastra/Jenny/Strax show. It can't be that expensive to do can it?

"This planet is the property of the Sontaran Empire! Surrender your women and intellectuals!"

I agree. They needed an episode where the multitudes of Clara's was explored or where she's mentioned that way, the closest I recall was Jenny pondering why she's no longer dead.

I'm assuming she's now like a roaming series of fixed points? Going to be curious how that will work regarding the prime-Clara potentially running into various versions of herself.

Strax just makes every episode he's in better. Love the comedy of him trying to fit in and his frustrations.

I'm only grading this harshly because I feel completely ripped off by the whole Clara mystery.
Sorry, but you can't go on and on about some potential dark secret for me, then just end it with it not really being one.
It just seems a tease with no big resolution, or no actual mystery to resolve.
The season didn't need to

Also handled the Cuban Missile Crisis in a more calm and level headed way than a lot of Presidents.

I do it if you go full monty.

Skin on skin makes it as much as the other part for me.
If we're oversharing here, then I'm free with my hands during sex, so I like some naked skin to grab a hold on.
I'm going to second the idea of it not being a mental image thing, if it's being done right I shouldn't be noticing things beyond physical.

I was thinking something like bacne even.

Oh it is, but I've used it as a general insult for nancy-boy.
I use pillock far more though.

Your nose is giving me wicked thoughts. Oh vicar!

I could be convinced.

A friend of mine is part of a topless book club that convenes in Central Park over the summer. I've always been tempted to attend, but probably never will.
