I also hated Rushmore, but liked virtually everything else (except Life Aquatic … just can't seem to make it through that one).

Of the what?! Don't leave us hanging!

Have you even listened to the album? I'm guessing not. Also, "mainstream" is a crazy, unfounded overstatement. NO ONE can sell albums to the "mainstream" with this much screaming.

I can't get into the new Graveyard or, for that matter, the new Sword. And they are both similar, I think.

While the drummer is excellent, I think Kerry McCoy is the driving force of that band. He's a guitar scholar. Really understands his stuff and has a clear vision of what he's trying to do and how to work his influences into his music. And he's a damn good player as well.

YES! That Tribulation album is fantastic. I mentioned them above and I'll mention them again here, if you like Tribulation check out Horrendous. They might be right up your alley, and they have a new album coming out soon.

Why the minus? There is no minus. AOTY for me. Until maybe the new Horrendous album comes out.

    Reza Aslan was fantastic.

He looks like a fine piece of Corinthian leather with a wig of shocking white hair.

I want to like this. I really, really do. But so far the laughs have been very few and far between. I'm hoping it is the case that they are still trying to find their footing, like early Parks & Rec.

Confession: both during its first airing, and again earlier this year, I have tried and failed to make it through Season 2 of Twin Peaks. While the first season is brilliant, the second is just … not. My enthusiasm for this new season is not particularly high. :/

I hope there are three things in this movie: (i) confusion as to which twin is which; (ii) a suggestion that, GASP, maybe they aren't twins at all; and (iii) boobs.

Find the vimeo video of the "Shiprocked" aftermath, which is a recap of the cruise featuring Limp Bizkit and their shitty brethren. Every single person that attended that event looks EXACTLY like you would imagine them to look. Every single one.

    Well said, sir.

I feel like Vol 2 is a little thick, and could use some slimming down. Feels a bit padded. I wonder if there's a rough cut of both movies together that we might see someday.

Matinee is a DISASTER of a movie. So terrible. And Toys … yeah. It's as awful as everyone says it is. The Toys trailers didn't bode well for the film. I remember being curious, but not terribly interested.

That's pretty scary. Anyone ever see the actual movie? Looks solid.

That trailer is AMAZING! I don't even have to see the movie.

It is, in hindsight, total shit.

    Like every 90s teen comedy.
