Season 4 started slow but really picked up steam as it progressed and older characters were slowly brought back.

Yeah, the vetting process just for a low-level appointee is insanely thorough. A really dumb tax issue kept Tom Daschle from getting HHS in 2009 and he was a former Senate Majority Leader.

For this kind of show, that's what's known as a high-class problem.

I didn't see BVS, but watching the Flash and Supergirl that night was a wonderful corrective to a week or so of hearing about the (ultimately disappointing, but we didn't know that then) box office haul for that brutal, stupid movie.

Very few people stop and think about the fact that she's the lead actor on a sitcom that she helped develop and has released about a half-dozen albums on which all of the original songs are written by her and does movies when she's not doing all of her other projects.
