Come on people! I woke up expecting to find 6000 comments and a movie, and you lollygaggers are only at two grand and change? You know what that makes you?

Nuuuuuuuuurd. I'm surprised you didn't go the whole way and point out that would have been anachronistic, as Wacky Packages didn't appear until 1969 (as sew-on patches and not stickers.)

Don said that about Ted Cha-cha-cha-Chaough in Season 4, in a quote to the Ad Age reporter.

Bad Mad Men is like bad sex — you're still getting laid.

I honestly thought that Don had stumbled upon Ginsburg's Secret Folder of Mad Magazine parodies at first. This was right when the Usual Gang of Idiots were about to become a major pop culture influence, and — seeing as many of Mad's artists and writers came from Madison Ave — it would not surprise me in the smallest

The awesome futurecar was apparently yet another repurposed Forbidden
Planet prop:

"Turn-On" got canceled in the *middle* of its first episode.

Always *something* there to remind me …

Loved the call backs in this episode — from Don's comment to Lane about handjobs in the theater, to Peggy channeling 1961 Don — but it was the last scene that really nailed it.

Don't lick the orange acid, man

Nothing against the good doctor … it's just that Ken's stories sounded more like "The Sirens of Titan" than "I, Robot"

My wife and I have been debating the same thing … however, Pete and Roger looked pretty chummy this episode (relatively speaking), and let's not forget that Pete still probably hates Ken for his early (Season 1) Atlantic success.

Not the one that took out Glass Pete!
