The bit in Saving Private Ryan where the guy gets stabbed reeeeeeaaallly slowly, can't watch it without squirming.

What the fuck is a "Youtube Star"? I can't think of a phrase that better encapsulates the obnoxiusness of our age, other than "Piers Morgan"  I mean.

Is it me or is this just a pure nostalgia band? To me it just sounds like old school first wave hardcore. What's the big deal?

It only gets worse I'm afraid, I'd go outside and play with your friends rather than stay in and watch this, toilet paper your maths teacher's house or something.

For the record, my personal biggest musical dissapointment is the slow decline of Less Than Jake. They shaped my early teenage years, then gradually became worse and worse with every record. They're basically a cheese pop rock band now. Lame.

I'm not actually old enough to remember but I think one of the greatest and most bemusing dissapointments in music history has to be Bad Religion's third record 'Into The Unknown'. They'd released what is thought by many to be one of the best punk albums of all time (How Could Hell Be Any Worse?) then went and shat

Wait, these guys were actually good at some point? I always thought they looked like self important hipster dickheads, a la the Ting Tings, so ignored them.

Their best of is the best of all the best ofs.

Can we use this item just to talk exclusively about how brilliant Breaking Bad is?

Hi everyone,
I noticed there's an advert on the homepage for the new Ricky Gervais comedy Life's Too Short. It's already aired in the UK, so I can tell you now that it is merely OK. Not great, just OK. You're time would be much better spent starting an online petition (or physical petition) which you can send to Ricky

Good response, it is always good to answer obnoxious goading with balanced reason. Sherlock is incredible, sharpest script I've heard in anything since The Social Network, really quick fire stuff. Also the way they depicted his mental deductions was awesome.

Russians, we speak English because of Russian callousness for other Russians. Also, there would have been no Britain to launch D Day from if the RAF had lost the battle of britain. You weren't involved at that point, you were biding your time before launching your selfless act of charity.

Can everyone in the US please stop watching this? It only encourages them to make more. The UK makes plenty of other quality programmes that we are more than willing to export to you for muh needed cash. I've been keeping track of the Republican Primaries, which is distressing enough without you also embracing bad

I remember seeing Daniel Radcliffe in the BBC Production of David Copperfield about 104 years ago.

I couldn't watch any of this show without thinking "this isn't a patch on Summer Heights High." That show was literally the best thing to come out of Australia since…

So this was an American made show? I wasn't sure. Presumably it is if the second series has already aired in the US, while over here in the UK there's been no sign of a second season. To be honest though I'm not sure they'll bother, it seemed to kind of sink without a trace, maybe because to us Brits the huge public

I kind of see the UK comedian Stewart Lee as a British Bill Hicks, at least politically and in his general world view. Lee has a very unique delivery though, kind of long and drawn out with lots of repitition, that's why a lot of people don't have time for him, he's kind of a comedian's comedian. His bit about being
