I'm legitimately curious as to how many Halloweeners in the UK will dress as Jimmy Savile this Halloween. Hopefully not when answering the door to trick-or-treaters, mind.

It's a shame Nicole Kidman has pulled out, denying us the scene where Dafoe describes his sex times with her and ends with "THERE WAS A FIRECROTCH!"

Eugh, I said I didn't want to come across as a dick, and then did. I still stand by the general gist of what I said but just… kind of skirt around the bits where I come across like a thunderous arse, please?

I agree with you on the fact it deserves some resentment - I can live with it, but it's a flawed film that didn't deserve the praise/awards it got - but I do feel the reasons it gets scorned are a bit off.

Red Dwarf was the first comedy I remember watching - I think it was Emohawk. I remember watching loads of repeats during the hiatus between series' 6 & 7, and falling increasingly in love with it. When it actually returned for series 7 I couldn't understand why it felt so off, but I still enjoyed it enough and there…

The correct answer is, of course, Krusty's interview with George Meany.
Eugh, that thing was flaccid for about three seconds.
