Show number one is not a fuck you show. Those are shows thirty-seven, eighty-two and six hundred and twenty-three, for those interested.

I sincerely hope Kermit has never asked Miss Piggy to drop her breeches and squeal.

Very sad. I love how all the British kids TV of the 70s feels like it was made by your grandfather in his shed, while smoking a pipe and wearing a jumper. Also, the Chorlton and the Wheelies theme reminds me of when all our kids TV theme tunes sounded like they were composed by a slumming Paul McCartney. Lovely.

Bananaman was voiced by the members of the Goodies, a cult British comedy show that was essentially marketed as Monty Python for kids but was way, way better than that sounds.

I remember when the Dead Kennedys sang 'Occupy Wall Street - Get Off The Air'.

If you're talking Brett Ratner, you've gotta show the Big Butt Book or nothing.

I don't know. Maybe it was Utah.

Not many people know that that scene was filmed directly over Lewis Carroll's grave.

Too late.

So when did John Hurt do this Hitler porno? Cus I'm both intrigued and repelled.

Lifelong Derby fan, so didn't need much encouragement really. But it's always nice to have your feelings reinforced.

He was a great Don Revie in the Damned United, a film with some fantastic acting, some dubious historical content and the funniest cheap wigs this side of Frank Costanza.

I'd like to see Lou Reed front Metallica.

There aren't really words to describe the mediocrity of 'Run, Fatboy, Run', only shrugs, scrunched-up faces and yawning existential voids.

So, Still Crazy, with less glam rock, more opera, and a complete absence of Jimmy Nail's scrotum-like face. I suppose it sounds fair enough.

Re: The Stranger: it's far better to sit on your dick until it goes to sleep, then jack off. That way, it feels like you're jacking someone else off!

His book is indeed awesome. Glad to see from the article too that I wasn't alone in wanting to cover Last Lost Fight. Never persuaded my band to do it, but mostly wanted to do it to jump around at the fast bit too.

I always thought the argument that people should just have taken his jokes in stride was undermined by the fact he himself sulked and acted like a petulant child when he got bad reviews for his Concert for Diana performance. It's not that people should object to his dishing it out. More that he should stop sulking

I guess if he hosted another Awards ceremony he'd just be resting on his laurels, which is exactly what he's against and oh wait nevermind.
