What if the only way we get season three is if Trump gets elected?

He specifically refers to CBS procedurals, which certainly have a distinctive flavor. And of course he was tailoring his language to his audience. Are you familiar with this feature? It's called Expert Witness. You're going to get some inside-baseball talk.

I agree with everyone else - easily the best episode so far. And I think the show is doing pretty well with Julia (I say this as someone who's only read the first book) - I was prepared to hate her for doing this to Quentin, but by the end of the episode my sympathies were with her.

I always watch Crazy Ex-Girlfriend first, then The Magicians, and then didn't have time for Supergirl. Kind of wish I had switched it up this week to have your experience.

Your question confuses me. What is "it" referring to in your sentence?

The Neighbors is definitely worth watching, although it's not quite as good as Galavant.

Comparing Galavant with CEG seems to be like comparing The Naked Gun and Annie Hall - both terrific comedies, but very different in their goals and execution to the point where comparisons seem fruitless.

This movie is certainly no Renaldo and Clara.

Come for the bad science, stay for the Holocaust denying!

There's a huge difference between writing a comic book and directing a $150 million action movie when you've only directed comedies before.

I'm sure it is, but that doesn't mean I find that intentional choice any more appealing (and quite frankly…it seems a little lazy, particularly in Adventure Time's case where the character design seems to have just been blobs originally.)

My best friend and I were SO EXCITED for this movie to come out. We read the reviews and knew it wasn't very well received, but we thought we would love it anyway, since that sometimes happens.

I thought about writing something similar in my caveat, but the fact is the timeslot change killed a good portion of the audience no matter the quality of season 2.

I would say both the doo-wop of Little Shop and the calypso of Little Mermaid was influenced by Ashman.

I agree, modern Cartoon Network shows have pretty unattractive character design. And I love these shows - Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Over the Garden Wall are all terrific. I just wish I found the character design more appealing.

The show was put in a terrible timeslot after getting quite good ratings during its first season.

Habibi is good! Not as good as Blankets, but good!

Russian Christian crap is so much more interesting than American Christian crap.

Am I the only person who didn't particularly think Sicario was that great? Some good performances, but the whole was less than the sum of its parts to me.
