It's not a very high bar to win a Pulitzer for Drama. Seriously, look at the list of winners sometime.

If this were actually an unbiased hard look at how this musical came to Broadway, I'd be there immediately. As an 80 minute long puff piece for Armstrong, I'll pass.

Why is AV Club all over this show and not The Goldbergs? I honestly think last night's episode of The Goldbergs was funnier than this episode of Trophy Wife. I mean, we all love Natalie Morales, but is that reason enough to cover this show and not the other?

Ok, here's my deal. I loved Shaw as soon as they introduced her last year. I still love her. But is this just me, or have they turned her into a female Reese? Last year, she seemed baffled at the concept of love or the idea that her original partner could have feelings for her. She was almost autistic in her lack of

Keep covering this show!

I think she's a biomedical engineer.

She's a biomedical engineer, I think.

Imagine Blake Lively in Sandra Bullock's role. Do you still think this movie is bad actor-proof?

The CW's new motto should be "All Amell, all the time!"

@avclub-5f958aa50f12213d724b476ac436a658:disqus I've got ties to both LCMS and ELCA - even in NYC, where I would imagine some of the most liberal ELCA pastors are, I don't know of any of them who would consider dating or marrying non-Christians. They might throw out parts of the Bible as not applicable to our time,

Well, I watched it. I still find this show more fascinating than most of the other new sitcoms this year. I am not the biggest Robin Williams fan (I hate his treacle-y movies), but I am liking him on this show.  Obviously I love SMG but I agree that she's not being shown off to her best ability on this show. Remember

@avclub-da518aecddbf5c94588f53562012c452:disqus I know "racist" is incorrect, but I couldn't think of a better term. Bigoted? Although all of the descriptions of the Calormen lifestyle are kind of racist in an Orientalist way.

We're going to be talking about it in BBT's comments, apparently.

I'll see you guys there, since I'm the only other person here interested in watching it, I guess.

The Man With the Iron Fists might be the most disappointing movie ever made, simply because it's boring. You'd expect a movie like that to be fun, even if it's awful, but it's just awful and tedious and not well-shot.

It's going to be awkward when the actress who played Lucy is more glamorous and beautiful than the actress who played Susan.

Yeah, for all the badmouthing he gets a few comments up, I remember being very impressed with his acting.

I'm not sure why you found that surprising…

I freaking love Till We Have Faces. Very underrated.

@cluelessneophyte:disqus I remember talking about The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe in high school with someone who didn't believe me when I said it was an overt Christian allegory. I couldn't believe that a 15-16 year old wouldn't realize that - it's not like Lewis was trying to hide it very hard.
