Usually, don't pilot reviews say at the bottom what channel and time they're on at? I'm guessing it's on Logo, if it's viewable at logotv.com.

I completely agree. I have really enjoyed this film for years now.

She does. I can't say how funny you might find it. I will probably keep watching Browsers for her and the songs, although the pilot made me laugh twice, maybe.

I am ashamed to say that I was one of those people. I tried to re-watch some of Starved a few years ago and was shocked at how completely awful and incompetent it was on almost every level.

A surprisingly good liturgical joke: "This is the worst 17th Sunday in Ordinary Time ever!"

If you really want to appease the click gods, put up that one picture of Nikki Deloach in a bikini for every single episode.

I freaking love Emma. Can her eyes get any bigger and wider?

@avclub-33235e3d066bad95b6eea457826f7507:disqus I love Martha Plimpton's voice. I'm just saying I don't think she toned down her natural singing ability - what we heard was what we get.

I've seen it happen in Broadway theatres a number of times.

Her name is second in the credits. As much as this is an ensemble piece, I think it would be accurate to call her the co-lead.

I'm happy I don't have to write reviews of this show. I'm really enjoying it unironically; I think it's compulsively watchable. That said, I definitely get it's not good, but as far as not good TV shows, I'd much rather watch this than Revolution (although I'll probably do both.)

When Emma asked "If I had an Asian sex slave, where would I hide her?", I definitely laughed out loud. Great(?) line reading.

@avclub-e61aa105c369c6ada1bce2c8d0416c1c:disqus Peter and John are the only two disciples specifically said to be "unlettered" by Acts. It's possible that Matthew was literate, but literate sometimes meant that you could read a little and write your own name. So that doesn't necessarily mean much.

I used to love this song, until I started going to Marie's Crisis (NYC showtunes-only piano bar) - now I hear it every single time I go there, usually poorly-sung.

I agree.

Erik, the Brighton Center for the Performing Arts in Brighton, MI? I went to high school right next to that town, and I've been to that Center many times, including seeing WSS once…when was this?

There was a sideboob sighting in the first half of the season, where we saw a montage of Charlie getting into a bath (she was going undercover as a whore, if I remember properly). Right? Did I imagine that?

Yeah, that guy must've been an ELCA Lutheran minister. Most Lutherans I know are pretty high church. Although "I hate God but he still loves me" is a very Lutheran thing to say.

Well, I don't want to oversell the movie - it's strictly a television film in terms of directing and budget (some really awful greenscreen towards the beginning.) And although strict fidelity to the text is interesting in theory, it's dramatically inert. But Cusick does an amazing job at finding the dramatic arc in

This reminds me of Arnold as Hamlet in Last Action Hero - "To be or not to be… Not to be."
