Jesus's last words were not TGIF.

Last night's episode must have encouraged some femmeslash writers to pick up their proverbial pens, with all those Kalinda/Robin scenes. Especially the motel one. "Do you want a room?"

I don't necessarily know that her parents were Islamic radicals, only that they could be painted that way in a smear campaign.

Yes, I thought it was clear that the wife killed her husband, and Alicia and Will knew it and pulled the DUI business in order to disguise that.

They often said in interviews (and on the show) that their only aim was to get people to question beliefs.

They wanted to do that but the show was canceled without any warning, so they weren't able to make that episode.

I don't think that phrase means what you think it means.

I liked it a lot more than I thought I was going to, until that ending which almost ruined it for me.

I don't know how many people would watch a show like that, but I'm willing to bet it's more than watch Smash.

I can't imagine why a Bible literalist would like this show. The first two hours were far more reverent (and entertaining) than these two.

I was just thinking this morning how an ongoing series based on all the stories in the Bible would be laid out. If I were an exec at NBC, I'd greenlight it - it can't get lower ratings than the current shows do.

Do we have somewhere to discuss this past week's episode of The Bible? Because I have some thoughts.

I saw Veanne Cox in period costumes two years ago (was it two years already?) in the Lincoln Center production of John Guare's quasi-Restoration comedy (really, kind of a deconstruction of a Restoration comedy), A Free Man of Color. Also I met her, since my friend was doing her wigs. She's just as lovely as you might

But The Comeback was comedy. Like, it made me laugh hard and often. This episode made me chuckle once.

Where's that GLICE guy? I feel like he might be warranted in this comments section, since "spiceps" was said so frequently in this episode.

Yes, with Patti, Nancy, Louis, and Clarke! I would watch it. And Jess Weixler can be their investigator.

As a theatre person, I love Audra, but her character was written so insufferably.

I kind of enjoy really long first acts. BSG used to do that all the time.

I like her! I like almost every guest star on this show! Can we please get a spin-off for Elsbeth, Louis, Clarke, Patti Nyholm, Nancy Crozier (Mamie Gummer's character), and heck, we can throw Elizabeth Reaser's character in there too.

I don't know if we are far enough away to look fondly on the episode where Maude died, but the coldcocking line reminded me a lot of "No footlongs!" Which is to say, I laughed.
