Well, I can't agree that it was better than DS9. But it was way better than Enterprise, yes, I'll give you that.

When I talked to him, he genuinely seemed to enjoy his time on Voyager. He said that the whole cast liked that they were making a show for families, a TNG-type show. I mean, that could've been spin, but it seemed real.

I love Picardo, but on a show like Voyager, they shouldn't have had him sing opera. He has a perfectly fine voice, but if he's a computer program who can program himself to sing amazingly, the actor needs to be able to sing amazingly. And he can sing well, but not amazingly. He's much better suited for musical theatre

So obviously it was intentional to not ask him about Star Trek: Voyager? I have to say, I know Voyager isn't good, but that show was my introduction to him, and he turned in consistently fascinating and witty performances for the entire run of the show.

Well, I am totally nostalgic, so I was happy with this finale. Happy to see everyone again (even Sela Ward, whose arc did not work on this show, IMO), and happy to see House and Wilson drive off into the sunset. I probably would've cried if they had used "You Can't Always Get What You Want" at the end, but I guess

Well, it certainly didn't get any worse. And most of the stuff that Darabont oversaw (the search for Sophia) is much worse than the stuff Glen Mazzara oversaw.

If you want to fight this battle, you'll be attacking a lot of your own countrymen.

This fifteen second couch gag was super long and elaborate? I actually thought it was very clever.

Interesting. I've only seen it in theatres here (I don't think it was released subtitled) cause it's not on blu-ray yet in the states. Looking forward to watching it in the original Japanese.

Oh, I don't think the implication is that she immediately forgot her experiences in the spirit world, but rather that she learned and grew from them, and is now a mature pre-teen and no longer a child.

At the end of Spirited Away, there are a few lines between Chihiro and her parents over shots of the car leaving where she says something to the effect of "I'm so glad that we came" that isn't in the original.

Kiki's Delivery Service was not released in the US before Disney released it. There was an English-language dub, but it was done for airlines, and was never officially sold or shown in the US.
