If you're talking about the dub released by Fox, I have a lot of fondness for that too.

Apparently not. Times like this, I really appreciate shows like White Collar.

Weird how this show does more location shooting in NYC in one episode than Suits apparently does in an entire season. Weird, but appreciated! Especially when it's impossible to believe that Chatswin is anywhere near Westchester in Suburgatory.

Dead End has one really beautiful scene where Bogart's character is confronted by his ex-girlfriend who's now a prostitute dying from VD. They reminisce on what their lives were like as children, and how they thought their lives would turn out. She visits him ostensibly to get back together with him, IIRC, but really

I feel like by this point, all that should be said about this episode has been said. But I do think that one of the effects of this season on next season will be that the new showrunner and creative team will see how Megan Hilty has blossomed and how much love she's getting (seriously, she's the breakout star of this

This made me laugh more than anything else has in my life for the past 48 hours. Seriously, funnier than Sunday night's episode of Veep.

Yeah, this is a good point.

That really would be the happy ending all of us need.

Mmm, historically inaccurate.

I knew my bad-boy days would catch up with me eventually.

Also, isn't Groupon's main office in Chicago? I only know that because a bunch of my friends work for Groupon in Chicago.

Theo James is my age. I find it difficult to believe that any 27 year old could ever end up police commissioner, but what do I know?

Nothing would make me happier than if, with no explanation, Hart of Dixie added Treat Williams and Tom Amandes next season.

That said, MANY notable musical theatre professionals came out of there in the past (Patti LuPone, Mandy Patinkin), and continue to come out of there (Tony-nominated Daniel Breaker, off the top of my head.)

Yeah, NYADA is based on AMDA, and it's a joke. It used to be a good school, about 20 years ago, and then the institution suffered some financial crisis, and they were forced to take every student and get teachers who are willing to work for next to nothing.

Crap. Now I will be reading that site all day at work.

I was going to watch this episode and comment on this review, but I can't, because I'm in tech.

I don't know if you can call her an MPDG. Like Emily Watson's character in Punch Drunk Love (referenced above), she seems to have a rich inner life. If she is an MPDG, she's a cut above the standard.

I don't have time to read five pages of comments, but in case Todd is still checking (or anyone who cares about theatre) - back in the 1960s, shows did not have a month of previews like they do now. At most, a show like A Delicate Balance would've had one week of previews, and three days is more likely. It wasn't

Julia Ormond is almost the same age as John Slattery, and no one questioned Roger Sterling having an adult, married daughter.
