My favorite bit is when Batman flips Superman in the nightclub and Superman has a full-on WTF look on his face.

I just watched this last night. I believe I have made my judgment about Mr. Dowd. He is no Tobias. He's more of a Robinson, who lets random and weird details interfere with her enjoyment of a great film. Iron Man 3 is great.
That space station episode was written by Ben Edlund and it is brilliant. There is a heck of a lot more to it than the "pissing his space suit" scene.
A Face in the Crowd doesn't strike me as hysterical at all. Especially since those exact tactics got W elected.
For the record, that crack was brilliant.
So angry.
Because I was going by what you said. I took you at face value.
You're probably talking about that hallway of doors scene and the hitmen chasing that poor woman. To me, that's pure gold. I wouldn't change a frame. "Wrong protagonist"? You must hate ensemble films.
I can't stand the "it's not that bad" stance that people take on this film. Sure, it's a pastiche of wildly different tones from silly to squirming audience torture. And I love every second! I say it's a great film!
I love this show.
By "ADD-focusing", I mean they focus on random objects around the action rather than give the audience a second to make visual sense of the scene.
Yes. You're interpretation is very different from mine. I get testy when I'm patronized to.
He says that if you don't like the film you're either old, not serious about film or both.
He does pretty much imply that if you don't like this movie then you're old.
It's a headache-inducing, overexposed mess of a film from the Oliver Stone school of ADD-focusing. If you think it looks like nothing else out there, go see U-Turn.
And yet you still treat each of these episodes like a twist delivery system. Even going so far as to dedicating a section to "spoiling" each episode's reveal. See, this is my favorite show. To me, each episode is special. Even the "joke-y" ones with bizarre scores. Yeah, the rug-pull is indeed part of the short form…
See? Was that so hard?
And with all this evidence you give, how can I deny your unsupported claim?
Yeah, I got your point. "What, do we have to do research for every single review?" is what I got out of that. How do I ague against "good enough"?
