THANKS FOR LISTENING!
That's just, like, your opinion, man.
We've always gotten off easy here, compared to the vitriol some things inspire. We were mostly just making a joke about a specific comment calling us "douchey" (also Elliott's voice does get special attention). It's pretty much our own fault for reading comments. We appreciate every single positive one, though. Pretty…
We posted one on the 15th, which wasn't covered in Podmass because (I assume) it fell on the gap week of AV Club Thanksgiving break. There will be a new episode this weekend. We're always on an every-other-week schedule, except for the rare occasion special circumstances (like, recently, Election Day) knock us back a…

Maybe our marketing lies a bit, to get people in the door. Does that make us no better than "The Devil Inside?" Perhaps!

As someone pointed out, we view it as a comedy podcast where bad movie talk provides a framework/reason for it to exist, and not a movie podcast with comedy (though I think it's clear how much we all love movies).

This sassy commenter is not actually Elliott, by the way. Elliott thanks the AV Club for covering us.

I admit that I probably shouldn't wade into these discussions though. Apologies if it weirded you out. A slow day at work leads me to make questionable Internet decisions.

Please take another look at my post. I neither attacked you, nor did I ask you to refrain from having an opinion. I expressly said it's fine to not like what we do. I'm grateful for the listeners we have, while knowing we'll never be to everyone's taste. If you'll notice, I didn't dispute the stuff about not finding…

We spent 35 minutes on the movie, followed by 15 minutes on listener mail, which is a frequent segment in many podcasts. Only one letter was a straight-up fan letter, and the others were posing questions to us, which we used as a jumping-off point for bits, followed by an additional 10 minutes of movie recommendations.

No need to be self conscious. You seem generally to enjoy it enough, and even if you didn't, you'd be welcome to that opinion. I just get a kick out of the fact that anyone cares about the show, so I like to check out the discussion (even though I fear public opinion in equal measure). Either way, I'm sure Stu would…

I can attest that Stu's "I like tits" schtick is not a schtick.
