The highlight of the whole season was the appearance (in the McDowell episode, I think) of Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band. The crowd had no idea of how to deal with that. Pure awesomeness.

I saw the Dead Milkmen for the first time in Huntington WV on March 10, 1988- the day Andy Gibb died. Before the concert we ate at a Fuddruckers, a restaurant where they announced on a PA that your sandwich was ready. A guy said over the intercom: "Andy Gibb died today. That is all."
