Nothing like waking up the day after Doctor Who comes on to see what degree of bending over backwards it takes someone to justify a B rating for an episode literally about monsters made of eye boogers.

The story I believe Netflix had at the time is that contract negotiations/extensions can occur very late, and so many times a title that was about to expire in a month can suddenly be expiring years later. The titles that they actually do indicate are about to expire are much less likely to be renewed at that point.

I'd add the season 1 intro to Transformers to the mix.
