a+
That was awesome. Some re-hash, sure, but they still know what strings to pull, and they did last night. Betty White kicks ass, and I wasn't even on board for what I thought was a silly Facebook campaign, but I guess it ended up working. Jay-Z's first performance was great, but what the hell was up with "Forever

I love how "didn't hate" is considered actual praise…

Dude, that was a girl.

Watchable, so it's better than the Megan Fox episode, but still not good. Meyers needs to go, he is just an older version of Bieber mugging to the camera. It's time to retire all the WU acts including Aunt Linda (and all other Wiig characters), Jon Bovi, David Patterson, Jean K Jean, and the rest. And this little

Valentine's hate washes over me like a cool breeze. I had a bird that liked pretty colors and shiny objects.

Uber mega canceraids for the lame self promotion. Try not to suck so hard next time.

Sit Down, Shut Up
No SDSU commentary this week? I've been watching the late night airings on Fox, and I have to say, it's not all bad. I think it's a shame that we were so quick to brutalize and dismiss a show that was at least trying to be different, but 90 minutes of MacFarlane and a show that is almost as old as I

I agree, I just started to really like this show, after avoiding it all season. Now I look forward to new episodes, but I will have forgotten this show exists by the time the new episodes are ready in 2011…

Live cartoon voices
Does anybody else have a problem with MacFarlane and Borstein doing the voices from the show in a live format? I think this is one of the reasons that the Simpsons was so successful at creating tertiary characters. For the first 8-10 seasons, only a few people paid any attention to who was voicing

You knew when that bit when on so long that Matlin at some point was going to bust out on stage, and if you didn't see that coming, can I borrow $100? I'll pay you back, I promise, you naive idiot.

She doesn't own the rights to any of those MadTV characters, so don't expect to see them turning up anytime soon (thank God).

Just realized it today. She's hot as an apathetic stripper, kind of annoying as Britta.

But if she was able to find the house for the concert, couldn't she have just found Larry instead? Surely his number would be the same, so as soon as he got his new Blackberry, he was reachable… oh well it's fiction, thank God.

The pitch wasn't perfect, it was several steps off.

20 treehouses… that's 60 Halloween related shorts they've had to come up with… The fact that it is still watchable at all is a credit to the show. They can't all be gems.

I guess I've been living in a cave because I was unaware of the internet video until reading this review. I fast forwarded through that bit of the show and was astonished as to how long to went on. At least during the Simpsons, if you didn't know the specific reference, you at least knew that it was a reference, that

It's over
After any critical posting, it's common for responses to go something like "well then why do you still watch the show?" I admit I have been very critical of this season, but now it's official: after more than 20 years of watching SNL, I'm just done. They have nothing new to offer. Rabin has hit the nail on

@hef … thank you, add that to the spank bank.
