Well, they revised TV Robb's marriage choice, so that's not really relevant to Catelyn's motivations anymore. Her story makes sense in terms of why she would have disliked/ostracized Jon as he grew up, which still contributes to his desire to leave and join the Watch. Overall, I think it works and helps put Catelyn's

BRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!

Me too. That said, I'm extremely glad that they bypassed all of the scenes with confused/dying Hoster Tully - those dragged on quite a bit in the books.

Or Left & Right.

The books did a better job of very carefully revealing just how clever Margaery is, but that scene with Joffrey and the crossbow makes it more than OK. I love the pull-through from Sansa's reveal about Joffrey's sadism to how Margaery used that to manipulate him in the later scene with the crossbow.

Also, Theon - that guy is getting mindfucked something horrible next week.

Yep, I'm coming around to the Diana Rigg version pretty quickly.

Three horn blows?

He's…not aged well.

Thoros also doesn't seem exotic enough to be from Myr. Not loving the casting on that one.

I imagined her older, but the line delivery was fabulous.

I like that the established very clearly that Brienne could hold her own against Jaime. Granted, he's malnourished and handcuffed, and she has armor, but it was a decisive win. Makes some later events make more sense.

Poor Sansa. So out of her league.

He's constantly out of his league. I actually pity TV Joff a bit, whereas I absolutely loathed book Joff all the time.

He will always be Caesar in my head, even though he looks nothing like the historical truth. Guy killed it in Rome.

This makes me slap my belly in displeasure!

At the very least, Gosling seems to have much better taste in picking projects than Pitt does.

If nothing else, Woodbury should be down to fielding the civilians without military training by this point (aside from that Hispanic guy who is Daryl's counterpoint). It should be a spectacularly clumsy battle.

*tooken

I haven't played it, but the commercial that they showed after this episode aired made Merle look like a fucking muppet.
