Oh man… she is going to be adorably FURIOUS when she gets old enough to google herself.

Why have they been paying tribute to Chicago anyway? I mean… it was an OK movie, worth watching, nothing spectacular…

Well I like it. So there.

This appears to be the dude's twentieth album, it's getting great reviews, and it sounds very different to all his other albums.  If there's a drug-related moral to draw from Nick Cave's career, it's probably the exact opposite.

You can't just declare a competition open and then immediately win it. That's not cricket.

Well, he did write an entire album of murder ballads… although actually I think the male body count would come in higher what with all those dead miners.

This may solve your 'haven't heard it yet' problem:

Yeah- I wouldn't put it up there with the best, but the laid-back, looping approach works and makes it completely different from all of his other albums.

I do love this application of RPG magic rules to real life…

…actually, I might have meant The Dead Astronaut rather than Cage of Sand. It's hard to recall with more than one story about… dead astronauts.

Late reply time!

What do you mean "the first time"?

"No, my friend. Somewhere out there in Hollywood a director… needs me."

Was Speed 2 Die Hard on a boat as well?  Or was that just Speed on a boat?

OK, that's even better than this concept.  Bonus points for making the "I'm getting too old for this shit" line work on two levels, and for being a stirring paean to bipartisan cooperation.
