Huh… what did you get that from? The only tactical discussion I recall was Tyrion saying Stannis would go for the Mud Gate, and the fact that the only landings and fighting we saw were right in front of that gate seemed to confirm that.

Goddammit, I haven't read an Afgham post in ages, and my reaction's still the same. I can't agree with the thoroughly critical tone because I enjoy the show too much… but the main point is true. Nothing much has happened. Still, though, this episode was spectacular.

I think this is dead right. Mind you, I did enjoy the battle scenes as well, but the build-up and the awesome HUGE EXPLOSION were better.
