I was explaining the Survivor episode to a friend, to let her know how funny the show can be. She thought it sounded brilliant so I'm glad to see someone else loving that episode!
I was very interested in the atmosphere of 21st century Miami because my only real exposure to the city prior to that was through either a cocaine-tinged-80s ViewMaster with Scarface, or as a mid-90s 'splosion with Bad Boys. So, when they dropped all of that it stuck out like a sore thumb.

Nah I agree with you. However, I've been loving some of the episodes in the last 4 seasons. There are some real gems in amongst them but you're right; the first 4 seasons are unlike anything else. They're all so, so good.
