I've met Stephen Stills. I like a lot of his music in spite of myself, but it must be said:

I love the films, but for me there is nothing like the glorious anarchic explosion of the show..I think their comedy is much more suited to little semi-sketches than to long-form… I certainly laugh more at the series than I do at the conceptual brilliance of Life of Brian (which is their most-realized film, for me)
