I'm sure someone has probably mentioned this but I didn't see t scrolling through quickly- In my DS9 Guide, or whatever it's called, "The Quickening" comes between these two episodes… What's up with that?

I don't know how many of you here get the Empire Magazine newsletter, but I foud this little gem in it this afternoon in a section where they include trivia and quotes from and about about writers and pop culture:

"DS9 must have gotten into my consciousness, because off my own bat I did a cross-stitch of the

Just a note: I am currently shooting a documentary on 16mm B&W,a s are two of my students; Three more are shooting on 16mm color. There have been hundreds of documentaries made on film since then. To say this is 'one of the last' is only true if one considers the follow up to be '..thousand…"

Certainly been  noted already, but let me add my voice to the crowd saying the song said 'It's a high to be LOATHED."

From the files of INSUFFERABLE:

Kind of like Last Temptation fo Christ, huh?

Mine would probably be Yeats' The Dolls, and the anonymously written, Sonnet Found Ina Deserted Madhouse, who's title pretty much says it all:

I actually remember being insanely jealous that my best friend as a kid had seen this film and I hadn't because my folks wouldn't let me see rated 'R' films….

Double Liked for the TOS title repurposing…. Brilliant!

Actually I think her words were 'coming again', but near enough…

"Wow" in a mirror is still "Wow", but "chicka", oddly enough comes out "Kill yourself! Kill yourself now! Satan commands it!"

Speaking of Most Dramatic Ipact, I am really not down with how the phasers work on this show. How is it that in Kirk's time, a phaser could heat, stun you, or evaporate a person in an instant (even the little, tiny, Phaser Is) but these big, badass rifles are winging people and making them bleed profusely, need

"This is her.. You know the one I met that time in the place I went?"

Shouldn't mirror-universe Jennifer be a great actress and a compelling character?

If only there sere a name for 'pre-urban' legends, some way to remove the 'urban' part….

I think Roddenberry might have loved it— The only part he wouldn't have loved (he was HUGE on 'prison of the mind' stuff) would be the murder, which he probably would have tried to play as a test that either O'Brien refused to participate in, or some sort of illusion…

Ah yes, CH'Pok

I haven't read the book and can't speak to the man's theory, but, taken on its own, @avclub-79557cb93066f4470b8cee6e9110f757:disqus 's statement seems pretty undeniable to me.

Bucky, are you SimpsonsGoldenAge in disguise?

Can yo imagine if the Simpson prosecutors had been black and started from the premise that all African Americans were savages? Or would that be the defense?
